Idaho to anywhere in the West. One crew loads it, one crew unloads it, the same name on the truck at both ends.
Quick relocations for offices, clinics, and retail spaces. After-hours scheduling so your business doesn't lose a day.
Got the truck? Need the muscle? Hire our crew by the hour to load, unload, or shuffle heavy items inside the home.
Call (208) 543-1460 or fill out the quick form. We'll go over dates, distance, and what's moving. Takes about five minutes.
You get a clear quote: flat rate when the job is predictable, hourly when it isn't. No deposit required to hold the date.
The truck arrives on time. Pads, dollies, and a uniformed crew. The same people who load it unload it at the other end.
Furniture set where you want it. Floors swept. We walk the house together before pulling out of the driveway.
Sawtooth Moving Co. is led by Dave Bracy, a local Southern Idahoan who runs the crews and writes the quotes himself. The moving company neighbors and realtors recommend across the Magic Valley. Planning a move? Reach out to Dave directly and he’ll walk you through it.
"Hands down, BEST moving company!! Dave and his team were professional, communicative, and efficient!"
"Dave and the guys at Sawtooth Moving did a great job moving my family. They were quick and courteous, even when the job turned out to be more than they planned. They wrapped everything carefully and not a single item was broken."
"Dave and his packing & unpacking teams made an already stressful process much much simpler than I thought possible, and for a very good price."
"Dave and his crew were absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond for us cause the house we moved into still had furniture and junk in it and these guys moved it out with no grief."
"Dave and crew were fantastic. Fast work, good price, took great care of our stuff, and fully accommodated our split schedule. Great problem solvers on some complicated pieces too! I would highly recommend Sawtooth."

Depends on size, distance, and what's moving. Plain-English quotes by phone, flat rate when the job is predictable, hourly when it isn't. No deposit to hold the date. Call (208) 543-1460 for a real number, or use the online estimator for a quick ballpark before you call.
We're headquartered in Twin Falls and cover the Magic Valley (Jerome, Kimberly, Filer, Buhl, Burley, Rupert, Hailey, Sun Valley, Hagerman, Wendell, and Gooding) plus Boise and long-distance routes across the West. See the full service area for the regions we cover.
Yes. The same crew loads the truck in Idaho and unloads it at the destination, with no shared loads and no third-party hand-offs. Quote it on the call.
Call (208) 543-1460 any day from 7 am to 9 pm Mountain. Most customers have a ballpark by the end of the call. Prefer to start online? The free estimator gives you a number in under a minute. Larger or commercial moves may need a quick walkthrough first.
Calls answered seven days a week, 7 am to 9 pm Mountain. Call (208) 543-1460 any time in that window, with no answering service.
Yes. Sawtooth Moving Co. is licensed and insured to operate in Idaho. We bring pads, dollies, and the paperwork on every job.
Sometimes yes, sometimes no. It depends on the dresser and depends on the move. If we're going up and down stairs or the dresser's already loaded heavy, we'll usually ask you to empty it so it doesn't break. Most dressers aren't built to hold all your stuff plus get lifted up a flight of stairs. If it's a straight load on a single level, you can usually leave the soft stuff in there. We'll tell you straight when we look at it.
No. For safety and liability reasons, our crews don't disconnect, reconnect, or install appliances like washers, dryers, refrigerators, or ranges, and we don't touch gas, water, or electrical hookups. We'll absolutely move and protect them, but they need to be disconnected before move day and reconnected afterward by you or a licensed pro. Get that handled ahead of time and the whole move goes smoother.
We don't sell boxes, but we'll bring wardrobe boxes and TV boxes free of charge for your move, as long as we get them back at the end. The wardrobes are the big one. If you're doing a local move, we'll bring a few wardrobes, you hang your clothes right in there while we're loading the truck, and we pull them back out at the new place. Beats moving 14 trash bags full of clothes every time. Need real packing supplies for a long pack? We'll point you to where to grab them.
Twin Falls is home base, and most of our jobs run across southern and eastern Idaho (Boise, Sun Valley, Idaho Falls, Pocatello, Rexburg) plus northern Utah down to Provo, eastern Oregon out to Ontario, and northern Nevada down to Elko. We also take long-distance moves out of state. Wherever you're headed, give us a call and we'll work out the best way to get you there.
Cash, debit, or credit card. We can also accept bank transfer (ACH) or Zelle if you prefer. Please note: cards carry a processing fee added to your total, so ACH is cheaper and cash has none at all. We'll walk you through it on the call. We don't accept personal checks. Whatever you choose, you can pay at the truck once the job is done, and we'll process it on the spot.
Anytime the job needs it. Stairs are the big one: if you have a third-floor apartment, or both your pickup and drop-off have stairs, we send a three-mover crew so we're not overloading two movers with all the trips. Upright pianos and anything heavy or awkward, we bring a third. We also reserve the right to add a third mover if we arrive on-site and find the job is larger than planned. There's an add-on for the extra mover. We'll lay out exactly what your move needs when you call.
Twenty-four hours before your scheduled move time, we charge the card on file for a deposit. It comes straight off your total when we settle up at the end of the job. It's not an extra charge. The deposit is there because we've had last-minute cancellations on move day that left us covering the labor and the drive. If you need to cancel or reschedule, just give us more than 24 hours' notice and the deposit doesn't run. Want the exact number for your move? Dave will give it to you on the call.
Yes. Dave does long-distance moves regularly: Seattle, Salt Lake, and beyond. Depending on what you're moving, he can quote it as a full move or help you set up a shipping container, whichever gets you there for the best price. Give us a call and we'll work out what makes the most sense for your move.
Most estimates take a few minutes on the phone. No deposit to hold the date, and no obligation if the number doesn't fit.
