Ballpark, Not Binding
The number above is a real ballpark based on the info you typed in. We don't lock the final price until Dave (or someone on the team) calls you back to walk through the details. Some moves take longer than expected, some go faster. We charge by the quarter-hour, so you only pay for the time we actually work. No hidden fuel surcharges, no surprise upcharges at the truck.
Here's How Our Pricing Works
- Simple hourly rate for a 2-mover crew with truck. Bigger or stair-heavy jobs may bring a third mover. There's a per-mover add-on, and Dave gives you the exact numbers on your call.
- 2-hour minimum on every job. After that, we bill in 15-minute increments, so a 2-hour-and-12-minute job rounds to 2.25 hours, not 3.
- Drive time is part of the job. We bill the full drive (from our yard to your pickup, to the drop-off, and back) at the same hourly rate. No separate fuel or mileage fee.
- Long-distance jobs: priced by the job, not the hour. Headed out of state? Give us a call and Dave will walk through options (a full move or a container) and the best price for your move.
About The Deposit
When we confirm your move, we'll take a card on file. 24 hours before your scheduled time, the card runs for a deposit that covers the 2-hour minimum. That amount comes straight off your total when we settle up at the end of the job. It's not an extra charge. Want the exact figure for your crew? Dave will give it to you on the call. If you need to reschedule, just give us more than 24 hours' notice and the deposit doesn't run. No-shows or same-day cancellations forfeit the deposit.
How You Can Pay Us
Cash, debit, credit card, bank transfer (ACH), or Zelle. Please note: cards carry a processing fee added to your total, so ACH is cheaper and cash has none at all; we'll walk you through it on the call. We don't accept personal checks. If you have a special situation, give us a call and we'll work with you.
A Note On Scheduling
We leave a 90-minute buffer between back-to-back jobs so we're not racing the clock if one runs long. That means our "next available" sometimes looks tighter than it actually is. Give us a call if your preferred date shows booked and we'll see what we can flex.
